I was born in Graz, Austria, in 1979 and grew up with a passion for outdoor adventure sports — from mountainbiking and snowboarding to rock climbing. Photography naturally became part of that world. I wanted to capture not just what these experiences looked like, but what they felt like: The energy, the movement, the atmosphere and the people behind them.
When I bought my first proper DSLR camera in 2008, photography quickly became much more than a hobby. As a self-taught photographer, I spent countless hours learning my craft, while assisting a range of photographers working in fashion, advertising and sports. Those years taught me as much about the profession as they did about photography itself.
I turned professional in 2010 and soon found myself drawn to motorsports where speed, precision and unpredictability provide an endless source of inspiration. Motorsport remains a major part of my work today, alongside commercial, automotive, action, lifestyle and sports event.
Over the years, my approach has evolved, but one thing has remained at the heart of it: Storytelling. I want my images to feel natural, honest and true to the moment. Rather than simply creating something that looks impressive, I’m interested in photographs that make you feel like you were actually there.

I’m still curious, still learning and still looking for new ways to tell a story. Whether I’m working at a major sporting event, on a commercial production or somewhere out in the mountains, the goal is the same: to create images that feel real, have a sense of place and capture something worth remembering.
